I am so frustrated with our adoption. Unfortunately our attorney has not gotten the paperwork from the municipality yet. Hopefully he will have it by the weeks end. I just hate this waiting! To think that we had our documents in to him at the beginning of Nov and here we are Jan...thats 2 mos..we could already be in PGN and waiting 8 weeks for her to get home. I pray she is home for her 2nd birthday and first family beach vacation (that we are going on over her birthday!). PRAY PRAY PRAY for us!!!
By the way my moms surgery went well. Her right knee was a lot worse and she ended up getting two different sized knees...they said they wanted to give her what fit best! She was pretty loopy and tired today so she tried to talk but would just fall asleep. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

Praying for you all. Your mom will likely have a bit more pain tomorrow once the anethesia wears off. Make sure she keeps moving those knees as much as possible even though it will be painful -- keeping and gaining range of motion is very important for her recovery. Another suggestion is to make sure they stay on top of the pain medication the first week to help easy her rehab. (Sorry the physical therapist in me always wants to help -- please contact me directly if you need any help or have questions.) She is quite a brave woman to do two at once!
